Justin Kitch  

Justin Kitch

Chief Executive Officer

Justin founded Homestead in 1997. It evolved from Justin's first company, KartoffelSoft ("potato juice" in German), which he created in 1994 to develop FUNdaMENTAL, a children's programming language based on his university thesis. Justin previously worked in the Kid's Group at Microsoft before realizing he was unemployable. He also enjoys advising startups and entrepreneurs, actively participating in several philanthropic ventures, spending time in the mountains, and playing basketball and the guitar (rather poorly). Justin holds a B.S. from Stanford University.
David Wu

Chief Operating Officer

David joined Homestead in 1997, leading the team which launched the first version of the company's award winning SiteBuilder software. David is responsible for the company’s day to day operations, and has managed the development, finance, product, sales, support, and systems teams. His almost two decades of experience in the computer and Internet industries include positions at Synopsys and Scitor Corporation, where he led the team behind InfoWorld's 1996 Product of the Year. He holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and a B.A. degree in Economics from Stanford University.
Thai Bui  

Thai Bui

Chief Technology Officer

Thai, Homestead's original employee, co-founded Homestead. He developed the core concepts and technology that fueled the creation of the world's first collaborative online Web-publishing platform. Every year, Thai also produces and emcees the Homestead Talent Show, showcasing the "talents" of Homestead's employees. Thai previously worked in Trilogy Development Group's consulting division, where he developed testing software for Trilogy's business applications. Thai holds both M.S. and B.S. degrees in Computer Science from Stanford University.
Manvinder Saraon  

Manvinder Saraon

Chief Marketing Officer

Manvinder joined Homestead from Intuit, where he spent four years leading customer acquisition and retention for QuickBooks financial and enterprise solutions. An entrepreneur at heart, Manvinder previously co-founded and led Surprise.com, an online consumer decision-making guide that was rated by TIME Magazine as one of the "50 Best Web Sites" in 2002. He also spent more than a decade at Hewlett-Packard in various management roles, including head of business development for its Asia Pacific Region. Manvinder holds a B.A. degree in business from Panjab University in India, and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan Business School.
Bob Olson

Chief Customer Officer

Bob is Homestead’s customer advocate, responsible for aligning business strategies, operations and service to maximize Homestead’s value to the consumer. Prior to joining Homestead, Bob was Vice President of Business Development and Operations at The GoDaddy Group, Inc where his responsibilities included Sales and Support, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Human Resources and Corporate Quality Assurance. Bob has also served as Vice President of Sales at NeoPlanet Inc., which was acquired by Compaq Computers, and held senior management positions at Tactical Marketing Ventures and ING Group. Bob holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from Colorado State University and an MBA with honors from the University of Denver.
Mona Wu  

Mona Wu

Vice President, Administration and Human Resources

Mona joined Homestead in 1997. As the vice president of administration and human resources, Mona is responsible for overseeing all of the company's policies and procedures, benefits, office administration as well as its successful and creative recruiting program. In addition, Mona's team is also responsible for the company's cultural and community service programs which include supporting a number of local non-profits and organizations. Prior to joining Homestead, Mona worked in the legal department of Diba, Inc. She holds a B.A. from San Jose State University and a J.D. from UC Hastings College of the Law.
Alan Chambless  

Alan Chambless

Vice President, Sales

Starting with customer retention programs and customer acquisition marketing, Alan is now responsible for direct sales and increasing the value of Homestead’s customer base. His passion is small businesses and their use of technology; early in his career he spent ten years with Wells Fargo Bank’s small business banking division, and was a key member of the team that launched Intuit’s Online Payroll service. When not working on innovative ways to help small businesses, Alan can usually be found brewing beer in his home brewery. Alan has a B.A. degree in English from UC Davis.
Rochelle King  

Rochelle King

Vice President, User Experience and Design

A nine-year veteran of Homestead, Rochelle has led several teams including Product Management, Design Services and the Websites Product Group. She currently manages the UI Design and Creative Services teams, and is the executive responsible for Project Management at Homestead. Rochelle's experience includes stints at Applied Materials and Robert Silman & Associates. She holds a B.A. in Art History from Cornell University, and Masters degrees in Materials Science and Engineering and Structural Engineering from Stanford University.
